The white box below (and others like it) can be used to search bluegumtree.com. This search facility can be found in the top right-hand corner of every page on the website. To use it, type in a keyword and click on 'search'. example: news Check your spelling and use lower case (unless your keyword is a proper noun). You can use more than one word. example: bbc news This can lead to more accurate results but, unless you specify otherwise, a page may be returned even if it doesn't contain each keyword. Capitalise the first letter of a keyword if it's a proper noun. example: Margaret Use quotation marks if you are trying to locate a specific phrase or if your keywords must be found next to each other and in a specific order. example: "Burton Bradstock" Add a plus sign if the search results must include a specific keyword or phrase. example: +Hopehill Don't leave a space between the plus sign and keyword or phrase. Add a minus sign if the search results must not include a specific keyword or phrase. example: -London Don't leave a space between the minus sign and keyword or phrase. Look for multiple word endings by using the asterisk symbol as a wildcard. example: tho* Results from the above example would include any pages featuring the words thorn, though, Thomson, Thomas and any other beginning with tho. example: *smith smith, blacksmith, silversmith and any other word ending with smith. example: col*r colour, color and any other word that begins with col and ends with the letter r. example: *din* din, dine, diner, Edinburgh and any other word that contains din.
